Pathways

Understanding the different pathways for young people when they finish year 11 can be quite difficult, particularly when it is all new for you, and them. What gets worse, is that the pathways are just the first step, then comes what the options are in those pathways in your local area.
Even though every school or education establishment should share this, we have all seen, and sometimes experienced, that this isn't always the case.
That is why careers professionals are around, to provide this service, the information and to support those young people into establishing which pathways are right for them, as well as if it is an option at this specific time.

Aside from that, sometimes the option or pathway they thought was right changes. Which is perfectly fine and quite normal. However, it can then be more challenging to know what to do next, what the options really are, and how their parents/carers can be impacted by it too. Particularly with how much we hear about compulsory education and fines. So again, not only is that where a careers professional can provide the information and support, but I have personally experienced this with my own children. Which is when it flagged that there are potentially lots of young people and parents out there that are in this predicament and don't know where to turn.
That's why I have decided to offer a 30% discount for the next 3 months (June, July and August), for young people and parents/carers in this situation (see offers page for further details).
In addition to this, if any schools or learning establishments would like resources providing information on the pathways and local opportunities to send out to young people and their parents/carers, I am happy to offer a whopping 40% discount for the next 4 months (June, July, August and September).
Any enquiries should be sent to info@personalcareersadviceandguidance.co.uk
